Cortland

Cortland apples are a more popular apple variety which has a sweet and tart taste, making it good for both eating fresh or cooking. This apple is a good choice for use in salads or any other fruit displays due to them turning brown slower than certain other apples. The Cortland apples have a crispy taste to them but are known to lose this at a faster rate than some other varieties when on the shelf.
